FIND HEALING, PURPOSE & SELF LOVE
The Work
My practice supports individuals looking to heal, grow, develop their unique gifts and most importantly find connection to self. Connecting to self brings much needed healing and wholeness to you, your family and your community. Through this work you inevitably begin to feel more whole and connected to the world..
By using this modality, together we can get to the heart of what might be limiting you in life or causing you pain or unhappiness that is not always accessible through talk therapy alone.
This work has the potential to open significant new ways of being, new ways of viewing others, and will influence how you view yourself. It also often brings to light new goals and creativity that wasn’t available to you before.
There are many reasons people come to this work. Perhaps you want to find more meaning or inspiration in your life; perhaps you’re questioning your vocation; or perhaps you’re trying to move through something difficult (divorce, grief, relationships).
However, one thing is commonly true; that the people I work with show up because they want to create long-lasting and significant change in their life.
I’m a true believer that no one needs fixing and no one is broken, but we can all relate to having struggles that we need to work through, as ignoring those struggles inevitably becomes a losing and painful strategy.
I work with both women and men over the age of 30 and I strive to give everyone the opportunity to get to know and love their true selves.
Engaging in this work is not an immediate fix. It takes commitment, similar to everything else you’ve achieved in your life, and if treated with respect and dedication, will undoubtedly be the most fulfilling and life changing work that you ever do.
Who is this work for?
About Me
It is an honor to do this healing work. Training
I go to great lengths and continued training to create a beautiful and safe experience for you. I am fully present for your healing and growth; creating an environment where you can find genuine love without judgement.
I am trained in the Hakomi method, a form of somatic psychotherapy allowing the connection of mind and body and is one of the tools I use to help my clients prepare for this work. I also incorporate centuries old indigenous practices into my work. to create a soothing and comfortable setting.
Transition
Prior to my transition to healing, I worked for over 25 years as an executive in finance and real estate development in New York and Los Angeles. I understand the intensity of that world and can assist people who may be struggling with balancing their career, family and finding a greater purpose in life.
Services
There are four distinct phases to my practice:
Somatic Therapy
Working together in a therapy setting to get to know each other, develop rapport, understand the material that we are working with and establish goals together.
Day Long Experience
This takes place at my private studio, in the Hudson Valley. It is a beautiful setting, near nature, that is welcoming and luxurious.
Integration
Arguably the most important phase, is processing and making sense of what you learned from the experience and integrating those learnings into your day-to-day life to bring about the change that you want to see.
The final, optional phase is ongoing work together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This allows for expansion and continuation of the work and together we can chart, reinforce and broaden the incredible change you are making.
